Hey guys. I finally found the time to update a little bit. I’m a little lazy right now to update about Florida and the beginning of Binghamton. Plus, I still need to upload the pictures and stuff. So I’ll talk about the Olympics.

I have the hugest crush on Shawn Johnson right now. Oh boy, is she the cutest thing alive or what? Did you guys see her interview? She has the most adorable voice and smile man. For once, I have a .000001 % chance with my celebrity crush. Nastia Liukin, on the other hand, is too tall for me, but she is sexayyy! She got robbed of the gold medal in one of the competitions because she got tied for the highest score and the tiebreaking rules were damn straight bullcrap. I have a new crush on gymnastics itself! And no, it’s not only because of Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin, although Shawn is a big part of it. It is some difficult stuff yo! Can you do 4 crazy flips consecutively? I don’t think so. And guess what they have in college? Gymnastics! Woots!

Congratulations to the USA “Redeem Team” for winning the gold. Both the men’s and women’s USA basketball teams just flat out dominated in the Olympics. I give credit to Spain for coming close, but then I always get reminded of that controversial picture. That was some unnecessary racist thing they did, at least in my opinion. When I first saw it, I was just like W.T.F. yo. But I saw USA kick their butts so I’m good now. Yeah, I saw the game at 2:30AM, and with Wendy nonetheless loL. I also just wanted to say that Marc Gasol looks like a freaking Viking.
Congrats to Michael Phelps on his 8 gold medals. Olympic History man. That is epic. This man is a straight up BEAST! I actually got the chance to see the nail-biting 100m butterfly and the 4×100m freestyle relay. I freaked out to those. Michael Phelps came so close to having only 6 golds. What a beast for real. And what abs! (no homo) ^^
Congrats to Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser. Dalhausser is a tall freak of nature.
Usain Bolt seems like one cocky kid, but he sure hell is freaking fast. Roadrunner-status yo! Beep Beep!
And that controversy with China’s women’s gymnastics team being underage sucks. If it proves to be true, then damn. I have no words for that. But they sure do look young as heck.
I love Shawn Johnson <3. The end!

Wow! Just wow! Thanks to everyone who made it possible. Look at everyone who showed up! The party was really just awesome. The theme was superheroes and look! We all dressed up! There were a bunch of laughs looking back at how the church was. Those throwback vids of Winnie and everyone else were mad funny! Everyone did a great job in making me feel like a part of the family at church. I thought I wouldn’t really have a part in it, but I did. So thanks guys…seriously! Thanks to everyone who wrote to me and encouraged me and just talked to me. It was great. And who knew…my superpower is sweating?!? C’mon guys…who came up with that? NOT COOL! And I’m glad I’ll be remembered as the guy who likes to take off his shirt in public hahaha! I call Daniel Chin’s role for next year’s grad party guys.
I will miss you guys and the church for sure. It did become another home for me. I’ll be back to visit. I promise. But until then, prayers, blessings, and love always. – “Roy”
Sorry guys for being late on talking about the Olympics. But China rocked it yo! That opening ceremony in the Bird’s Nest in Beijing was epic! If you didn’t see it, you seriously missed out! I’m gonna be in Florida during most of the Olympics, but yeah, I’ll try to keep up with it. Good luck to Michael Phelps on winning 8 (YEAH 8!!!) gold medals. He already won one today…7 more to go loL. This guy is a true beast and pure athlete yo! And let’s go Redeem Team…gotta get our gold medal back man! Let’s hope the Chinese get some gold medals too.

I went to watch 3 movies recently: The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, The Dark Knight (again), and Step Brothers. I think the Dark Knight was the best out of all of them; I give them 4.5 stars. But I already had a review on it loL.
Step Brothers was funny. They had some of the most random stuff in there, especially the end. 3 stars? But The Mummy was kind of disappointing. The storyline was just like what? It was based on a bunch of cheesy graphics and cheesy acting. But one positive? Isabella Leong. She played the role of the daughter to Michelle Yeoh. Maybe it’s just me, but I thought she was pretty. She’s a HK actress that came over to do a movie and can speak English. That’s sexy…like Zhang Ziyi if she can speak more English. I thought that she also played Sparrow in The Forbidden Kingdom, but apparently, it was someone else. I wasn’t the only one to make the mistake though!

People use other people. People take other people for granted. It’s a dog eat dog world (is that the expression?). And then there are those good-hearted, selfless people who really do care. If you find one, do not let go because they are one in a million. If you let go, you may never find it again. You can try to replace it with as many things as you can, but they’ll still be a void in you. I learned that, yet I just can’t bring myself to apply it. This isn’t just about love; this is about a true friendship.
I don’t want to lose you, but I don’t want to see you hurt again. I can’t bring myself to believe that I can change, but I don’t want to give up. The question is: Do you think I’m really worth it after everything?

Group pic. Everyone helped. Hanna (the girl with the funny face jkjk!) is the one who planned everything and the girl above her is Anne.

True friendship. Period.

NYCBC decided to throw Anne a surprise farewell party since she’s moving to Singapore. I was talking to Hanna about an hour ago and she said that Anne was just getting on the plane. Pray for a safe flight guys. The party was a success and Anne was so surprised. I taped it so I’ll try to post it up later because her scared reaction was hilarious loL.
Everyone came in to help set up the food and tables and decorations. It was really nice to see everyone come in together and united to make the party a success. Hanna planned everything and I have to definitely give her props for what she had done. With college just around the bend, friendships will be tested and many may become broken. But Hanna and Anne, it’s true friendship. No doubt when I say that. From the way I saw Hanna break down, I knew it was for real. Afterwards, I wish I had the right words to say to comfort Hanna. I don’t know if it worked, but it doesn’t matter. She’s a strong girl; she’ll be better in time. They’ll keep in touch and remember each other forever. I know it. You can’t fake something so real. And it’s only a matter of time before Anne comes back. When she does, I hope I’m there to see just how happy Hanna and Anne become when they reunite loL. It’ll be a true miracle. But until then, many prayers for Anne and her family in Singapore.
I wish I find my own “Hanna” one day loL.

I find this one of the most beautiful things about church. The above picture isn’t the best picture I can take of it, but it’s when we get the chance to sing to God. And I love singing. The difference here is that we are a unified whole and no matter how good or bad you sing, God still finds it beautiful and loves you. You have to be there to know what I’m trying to describe.
So this Sunday is my last Sunday Service at NYCBC before I head off to Binghamton. I know I’ll be back, but it’s just kind of sad to be leaving just when I’m about to feel like a part of it all. I sat by myself for a while on the english congregation side just to get a last feel of everything. It sort of became another home for me even though I’ve only been there for 2-3 months. The people I met there were awesome, dedicated, friendly people and it sucks now that Binghamton will cause me to see them and hang out with them less.
I just wanted to start a new category for my WordPress to share what I learn during Sunday Service. It’s also a good way to help myself keep track of everything I learn. PB’s message today hit me because it not only talks about Christianity, but also relates to everyday life. We have to be able to leave our comfort zones to reach out to others. Try things you may have never done before or don’t like to do because we can’t focus on our own selfish desires of pure enjoyment and rather, we should enjoy the bonding experience of just being with someone. Yeah, harder said than done…I know. It just hits me hard because I’ve recently lost friends or lost contact with them since school ended. Some of them may have invited me to do something, but I didn’t go because I wasn’t interested. I should’ve went just to spend some time with that friend because college is coming right around the corner. I am guilty of that selfish desire for pure enjoyment.
For this summer, I’ve spent most of my time with the NYCBC people. I’ve gotten closer to them while becoming more distant to a lot of my other friends. It’s a hard balance, but it’s time to try harder.

Yup, I went on it today with the NYCBC Footsteps crew. It was a sick, awesome ride yo! And I was sitting next to Emily Hui too. She was going crazy about it loL. And since I mentioned her, it’s past 4AM and I’m talking to her again loL. I found this hilarious:
Em: i would like to find a nice guy
Em: normal guy
Em: in a live house
Em: that’s not gonna happen, so i’m just gonna stalk random stars
Em: LOL
Good night. I am exhausted.
EDIT: It’s 5AM and I’m still talking to her loL. I think I said good night around 4:15.
EDIT AGAIN: It’s 5:33AM. I’m still talking! WTHECKKK!
Emily Hui (5:04:51 AM): morning to you too.
^ Yup, another night talking to Emily past 5AM. This nocturnal thing is seriously going to mess me up one day. My eyes are dying on me. Good morning. I’m going to bed!
