Spinnin’: “i will remember u” -ryan cabrera
So it’s almost 2AM and i can’t sleep…i wonder what i should do? Oh yeah, i have a blog to write in.
I just wanted to say congrats to all those that graduated today at Brooklyn Tech. Oh man, it’s been a crazy 4 years. A lot of people may not have liked tech, but we went there and we do have to admit it changed our lives.
Man, in the blink of an eye, like for real, we’re goin to college. 4 years ago, i was like “damn yo this is gonna be a long 4 years of hard work.” Now, i just want to stay cuz college will be a new start and everything. I mean it’ll be a good start and a good new experience, but i liked it here at tech. Met some mad nice, cool, and awesome people. I think i’ll have a post for those people later in the summer.
I just wanted to talk about graduation for a moment just so i can read back on this later on in life. I expected nothing out of the graduation cuz the long, unnecessary rehearsals just completely killed my mood. I think it was better expecting nothing cuz it came out better than i thought. I was able to take some pics with friends (i couldn’t find erica though n’ that made me a sad) and talk a bit before the ceremony began. During the ceremony, some kid in front of me dropped his hat on the way to the stage and waited for us to walk up to him. It was supposed to be 4 people at a time walking to the front of the stage, but i think he went with us. I’m not sure. All i knew was that William was shoving me to the side to make room loL. I just thank God that nothing bad really happened. Oh, and the wave that we did 3 times was pretty fun. I thought it would’ve been a disaster but we did it 3 times! It was mad funny how we did it every time Mr. Asher (our principal) came up to talk.
Anyways, we got through the hot but special evening. Just wanted to say congrats again to all. TECH SENIORS ‘08!!! WE OUT! It was nice knowing you all. Have a good summer guys. I know i will. PEACE!
AND OH MAN, ANDREW BYNUM WAS IN THE HOUSE! AT TECH! but i didn’t find him =(
And just to remind myself, i still have to write that TECBC 2008 retreat post that i was supposed to write as my first post on this blog.
